The new Somalian airline Star Airline shows an artist’s impression on their Facebook page of a Fokker 50. Would this mean that the airline is looking for adding an F50 to their future fleet? 

Also Somalian Daryeel Airline has a picture of a Fokker 50; no additional information is available. 

Surinamese Fly All Ways has applied for a foreign air carrier permit to fly charters and cargo flights to the United Sates. The privately-owned airline currently has three F70s, two active and one parked, and a few smaller aircraft in their fleet. It will be interesting to see whether the USA flights will be performed with Fokkers or with leased aircraft like the B737 in past years. 

Dutch Antillean airline JetAir Caribbean has started flying between Curaçao and Jamaica, once per week with Fokker 70. 

Amapola Flyg has won the contract for flying twice per day from Dublin to Donegal from 26 July 2021, a public service obligation route funded by the Irish government that had become vacant after Stobart Air collapsed. Obviously, Amapola Flyg is going to use a F50 on this route.

10450 600 D-AELM Further to the picture in Fokkernews 40, the aircraft was seen on 13 May 2021 at Motorworld in Butzweiler Hof with most of the paint removed from the right-hand side. On the left-hand side, the white paint and Mororworld logo were pretty intact.
20105 50 SE-MFP Amapola Flyg. Departed from Lelystad back home to Malmö 7 July 2021, after paint in new Amapola Flyg livery.
20109 50 OO-VLS SE-MFY Amapola Flyg. Re-registered to SE-MFY 1 July 2021 and ferried from Malmö to Lelystad 8 July 2021 in full Air Antwerp colors, for repainting. Departed Lelystad back to Malmö 20 July 2021 in new Amapola Flyg colors. Few days later it was ferried to Dublin, for the Dublin-Donegal route (see above).
20124 50E SE-KTC Largus Aviation. Ferried from Malmö via Heraklion and Khartoum to Nairobi 13 and 14 July 2021. New operator still unknown.
20125 50E SE-KTD Amapola Flyg. Ferried from Malmö via Heraklion and Khartoum to Nairobi 14 and 15 July 2021. Believed to be destined for Silverstone Air Services Ltd.
20149 50F SE-MFJ Amapola Flyg. Ferried from Malmö via Heraklion and Khartoum to Nairobi 26 and 27 June 2021. This aircraft is intended for leasing out to local and possibly Somalian operators.
20151 50 SE-LIR 5Y-*** Intended for startup I-Fly. Swedish registration cancelled 14 May 2021, and Kenyan registration still unknown.
20163 50 EP-FQB Qeshm Air. A picture taken at Tehran-Imam Khomeini 14 July 2021 shows this aircraft in good condition. Assuming that this date is correct, the aircraft is in active operation again after many years of storage at Shiraz.
20210 50 OB-1770P JU-1050 Mongolian Airways. Seen at Lima 20 July 2021 after painting and re-registration. Departed Lima 23 July 2021 on ferry to Ulaanbaator (Mongolia), via Panama City, Nassau, Halifax, Goose Bay, Keflavik, Tromsö, Helsinki, Atyrau and Semipalatinsk, still with its Peruvian registration.

Fokker F28, Fokker 70 & Fokker 100

11285 100 XA-MRB As a correction to Fokkernews #42: the former Mexicana F100 modified to a restaurant, was incorrectly identified: it is XA-MRB, not XA-MRA (11284). The front section of XA-MRA is in use as a cabin ditch trainer at the Mexicana corporate headquarters in Mexico City.
11444 100 EP-FQF Qeshm Air. On 8 July 2021, an airport air conditioning cart inflicted damage to the forward cargo hold door at Tehran-Mehrabad.
11564 70 VH-QQR Alliance Airlines. Was in Singapore-Seletar 27 April to 11 June for heavy maintenance.
11583 70 5B-DDI TUS Airways. Only the empty hull of this F70 remains at Larnaca airport; all titles and registration have been removed, except the word 'Air'.

Pakistan International Airlines Friendship AP-BDR (10134) is stored in the General Aviation area of Jinnah international airport, Karachi since 2007 or maybe even longer. The airframe can be found on Google 24.8935, 67.1467 and it is unfortunately in a desolate condition. (Hamza A. Mughal; Karachi, 2 June 2021)

 

Friendship I-MLRT (10377) that was stored at Bergamo airport since Miniliner ceased operating in 2015, recently found a new home. It was transported by truck to Brembate di Sopra, very close to Bergamo, where it will be rebuilt and transformed into a holiday hotel suite. Again Amapola Flyg had two Fokkers painted in their new corporate livery. First SE-MFP (20105) arrived all white at Lelystad on 23 June 2021 and left the paintshop on its way to home base Malmö (Richard Poeser; Lelystad, 8 July 2021), flown by the same crew that brought SE-MFY (20109), still in full Air Antwerp colors (Richard Poeser; Lelystad, 8 July 2021). Two weeks later, SE-MFY was also ready and departed to Malmö (Jan Bekker; Lelystad, 20 July 2021)

 

Still present in the dump corner at Maastricht airport is the cockpit section of Minoan Air SX-MAR (20189), which was broken up back in 2017. (Johan Hetebrij; Maastricht, 1 July 2021)

 

Tanzania Government F50 5H-TGF (20231) flew from Dar es Salaam via Malta to Woensdrecht for maintenance. It was in full Air Tanzania livery, with the word 'Air' erased, so apparently Air Tanzania returned it to the government. (Ralph Hamaker; Woensdrecht, 7 July 2021)

 

Another new Fokker operator has become known, this time in Mongolia. Mongolian Airways acquired former ATSA F50 OB-1770P (20280) and had it ferried to Ulaanbaator, in the new operator’s colors but still with its OB-registration. After two years of inactivity, Fly All Ways is now operating their third F70, PZ-TFC (11579). The airline used it on the second flight of the newly opened weekly connection between Paramaribo and Curaçao. (Larry Every; Curaçao, 23 July 2021)

 

While sister ship PJ-JAB is under heavy maintenance in the Netherlands, Jetair Caribbean PJ-JAC (11582) is currently the airline’s only F70 in operation. (Mike Ellemers; Curaçao, 30 June 2021)
