General news
Arvand Airlines seems to be reactivated after a long hibernation period. The airline, based in Abadan, Iran, intends to start flying the first of six F100s this year. The source of the aircraft is not clear yet, but some Iranian Fokker operators are currently retiring their F100s.

The color scheme of the training Friendship at Cologne-Bonn airport (former WDL ship D-BAKD, 10179) has been further enhanced: it now has titles and hundreds of handprints. (André Alders; Cologne, 12 July 2023)

Replacing the shot in the previous Fokkernews of 6O-YAS (c/n believed 20177, but unconfirmed) with large Starsky titles and a 10th anniversary tail logo in sunny conditions. (Marius Hoepner via André Alders; Mogadishu, 26 June 2023)
Another still unidentified F50 is operated by Aerojet Aviation Ltd. The registration is incompletely visible, we believe it reads 5Y-SK*. The only known possibility is 5Y-SKN (20110), but we strongly doubt whether is the same aircraft. (Mudug24; Bardera, 29 April 2023)
Fairchild F-27A N127HP (033) that was last used by Hawkins & Powers over 25 years ago and still is in reasonable condition, was trucked from Greybull to Hagerstown, where it will be readied for display in the Hagerstown Aviation Museum. Shortly after delivery to Kenya Skyward leased their new F100 5Y-SKE (11416) to Premier Airlines and it carries their titles. It is a pity that part of the decals have already come loose. (Nino Parasmo on Facebook; Kinshasa, 18 July 2023)
