Air Bagan was formed in 2004 as a public-private joint venture between Myanmar's Ministry of Transport and HtooTrading Co. and started flying with a number of ATR aircraft. Over the years Air Bagan has used three F100, one of which was on lease from Inter Airlines for a few months only. XY-AGC (11327) flew for Air Bagan from 2005 to 2012. Unfortunately it crashed on approach to Heho airport on 25 December 2012, claiming the life of one passenger and a passing motorcyclist, 70 people survived. The picture was made three weeks before the accident. (Walter van Brempt; Yangon, 3 December 2012)
