This time a mystery Fokker Friendship (or Fairchild F-27?) for which we would like to call your help. The picture was made in September 2024 at Surabaya-Juanda airport. The remains of this F27 are in an open shed south of the runway and east from the TNI AL apron; approximate coordinates on Google Earth -7.38629, 112.79167. The aircraft is missing many parts like outer wings, engines and tail. Fortunately it has a distinctive color scheme that should be helpful for its identification. Who knows which airframe it is and how long it is in its current position?
