JetAir Caribbean announced plans to restart operations under a new owner, but Antonio Ribeiro, the founder and current owner, became involved in a conflict with the administrators over the conditions for reviving the airline. 

 

In June 2024 Fokker Next Gen has decided to drop the phase of hydrogen engine testing on a F100. Instead, it focuses on developing the zero-emission airliner from a clean sheet. (our article on Fokker Next Gen has been updated with a note)

 

Iran Aseman Airlines has put their derelict F100s up for auction. According to our data at least 13 F100s are stored at various airports, whereas four are still active.

Fokker F27, Fokker 50 & Fokker 60

20110 50 5Y-SKN Rudufu and Air Kasaï have been ordered to remove the F50 which is parked without payment at Kinshasa-Ndolo airport after it flew for Air Kasaï. In case of non-payment, the F50 will be auctioned to cover the costs.
20123 50 SU-YAH Air Kasaï (Congo DR) added another F50 to its fleet, likely as a replacement of 5Y-SKN above. The Palestinian Airlines Fokker was ferried from Cairo via Nairobi-Wilson to Kinshasa-Ndolo 5 to 7 July 2024 on delivery. On 13 July it flew its first service to Mbandaka and Tshikapa in Congo DR.

Fokker F28, Fokker 70 & Fokker 100

11264 100 P2-ANE Air Niugini. Returned into service recently after having been parked at Port Moresby since January 2023.
11391 100 VH-FSW Alliance Airlines. Registration cancelled 26 June 2024 as scrapped.
11538 70 P2-ANU Air Niugini. Returned into service in May 2024 after major overhaul in Singapore-Seletar.
11547 70 VH-KBX Airline Technical Support, owned by Kris Bleyenberg, bought the former Dutch Royal VIP F70 from Alliance Airlines. It flew to its new owner in the Netherlands 19 to 22 July 2024 from Rockhampton via Brisbane, Darwin, Kuala Lumpur, Bengaluru, Al Ain, Alexandria to Woensdrecht as SXI2451. The plan is to sell it further on after fixing up and maintenance. As it has relatively low hours it can fly for another 10-15 years.
11559 70 5Y-MMB Salaam Air Express. Three weeks after its runway excursion on 26 March 2024 the aircraft was repaired and returned into service.
11565 70 VH-QQV Alliance Airlines. The aircraft was seen at Perth on 15 May 2024, without any titles or logos, waiting for the scrapman.
11570 70 PZ-TFB Fly AllWays. After some nine months in storage the F70 returned to active service.
11582 70 PJ-JAC JetAir Caribbean. Noted in the corrosion corner of Curaçao airport 28 June 2024, missing many parts.
"1243" 100 PS-JUX ANAC, the Brazilian Civil Aviation Authority, used this registration in February 2024 for system testing. The construction number is fake.

After serving many years as a training object for the Adelaide airport fire brigade, the fuselage of Ansett F27 VH-MMO (10146) was eventually trucked away to a scrap yard in the vicinity. (Matt Welsby; Adelaide, 14 June 2024)

 

Former Netherlands Air Force Friendship C-2 (10149) is still stored at Subang airport. Its final registration, N32180 with Aerospace Trust management LLC, was cancelled from the US register in 2008 and the aircraft no longer has an official registration. The Dutch colors are still recognizable under a thick layer of dirt. (Warren Leak; Subang, 20 June 2024)

 

The remains of Aero Mongolia F50 fuselage JU-8257 (20257) are devoid of any markings laying at Buyant Uhaa airport (Yura; Ulaanbaatar, 16 May 2024)

 

The absolute highlight of the annual Bastille Day flying parade over Paris city was this Centre d’Essais en Vol F100 F-ZAFT (11290), adorned with decals for celebrating the 80th anniversary of the CEV organization. (Timothée Savouré on Flickr; Villacoublay, 14 July 2024)

 

F70 VH-KBX 11547 returned to its country of birth, after Airline Technical Support acquired it from Alliance Airlines. It arrived at Woensdrecht air base still in the former Royal Dutch livery with Australian registration. (Kees Harteveld; Woensdrecht, 22 July 2024)
